Komodo Open Trip (PT Komodo Dragon Wisata Bahari, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled when you use komodoopentrip.com or book a trip with us.
What we collect
- Booking data: your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, trip dates, group size and any special requests you submit through our booking forms.
- Communication data: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or our contact channels.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use your data solely to operate your booking: confirming availability, issuing invoices, arranging pick-ups, complying with national park registration requirements and contacting you about your trip. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not send marketing email unless you have explicitly asked for it.
Who we share it with
Only what each trip requires: passenger manifests filed with the harbourmaster and Komodo National Park authorities (a legal requirement for every departure), and our own reservation system. All transfers use secured connections.
Retention
Booking records are kept for 5 years to meet Indonesian tax and tourism regulations, then deleted. Website logs are kept for 90 days.
Your rights
You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing booking@komodoopentrip.com. We respond within 14 days.
Cookies
This site uses only functional cookies necessary for forms to work. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
